Jung, myth and a moment with Korsakoff
Scheherazade is the woman who told the stories of The Thousand and One Night.
History:
The Sultan to see that his wife was being unfaithful with his brother, killed her and said she would never trust any woman.
The sultan decided that going to bed every night with a different woman and at dawn the day was going to order the killing.
In the kingdom did not liked that idea and began to send their daughters to other places where they could be safe
There was only a servant of the Sultan who had two daughters between them was Scheherazade, which was dedicated to telling stories Sultan and leave the story unfinished since the beginning of the new day, she was silent, the sultan intrigued to know the end of the story let it live another day, but every night she'd come back and let him or her unfinished story started another different and so on for a thousand and one night.
The sultan and I loved her and felt unable to kill her, so she forgave life and spare his brother. ___________
The myth of Scheherazade is beautiful, is the story of the redemption of the woman, when you have to watch because you never sultan always gives everything, always leave some of his stories for the day tomorrow.
By the way I love this movement of his work Korsakoff Scheherazade "The Sea and Sinbad's Ship" I invite you to listen
